Apex Games Update

Hello everyone,

I am proud to announce that today is the release of Frontline TCG’s third expansion - Apex Games!

This set includes:

• 1 New Leader card

• 8 New Ability cards

• 24 New Creature cards

• 8 New Action cards

• 8 New Ambush cards

• 5 New Area cards

• 4 New Gear cards

This set marks the introduction of Apex Legends’ characters and lore into the widely-loved game of Frontline. This also means that cards related to Titanfall & Titanfall 2 will appear sparsely throughout the rest of this game’s life cycle. While I thoroughly appreciate all of the love from the Titanfall community, there are only so many resources I could extract inspiration from with Frontline. I was able to make over 250 cards based off of those amazing games, however, so I’d like to think that I was able to provide more than enough respect for Respawn’s amazing work on their franchise.

Now, please accept an apology on my behalf. I had first planned for this update to launch last week, on June 16th, but I really wanted to make sure everything worked out with the release, and so some extra time was needed to bring the expansion in line with expectations.

Furthermore, some fundamental changes were made with this set. Originally, this expansion was titled “Wild Frontier”, and was planned to cover the first six seasons of Apex Legends’ live service. While many cards were made under this design direction, it was noted early on that pushing so much content out in such rapid succession would exhaust the life of this game very quickly. With all the work being made under this project, it would be regrettable to have everything done and forgotten all within such a short time. While having 5-6 large set releases per year is the norm for traditional card games, Frontline TCG is not conventional, and shouldn’t be treated as such.

Players deserve to have more time to enjoy their cards, and with that in mind, let me introduce you to our newly-revised release schedule:

June 24th, 2025: Apex games expansion release

• This set focuses primarily on the characters, places, and events introduced in Season 0 of Apex Legends. It features cards themed around the eight primary Legends, and locations no longer available to play in the video game.

July 22nd, 2025: Wild frontier expansion release

• This small expansion focuses on the introduction of Octane, Havoc equipment, and more details surrounding the Apex Games.

tba 2025-2026: expansions releated to each season of apex legend’s history

• These individual expansions will be released intermittently throughout the next 16 months, and each one will be themed around specific seasons, and the characters, plot, maps, and gear introduced in canonical order to Frontline’s video game counterpart.
